The Look
"The Look, hitting the Twin Cities area music scene in 2017 (initially as "Tommy Gun"), we’ve continued to make a name for ourselves playing at events, weddings and local Twin Cities bars and clubs.
A group made up of long-time musical veterans, our love of music and experience putting on great shows shines through in our performances. Playing popular rock and party classics from the 70's, 80's through the 2000's, we deliver an energetic and fun show, that appeals to a wide variety of musical tastes.

Dani Heinert - Lead and Backing Vocals
Dani is the newest member of The Look. She has been singing since she could talk and studied vocal performance at the University of Denver. She has sang lead in a few local Minneapolis/St. Paul cover bands and is thrilled to join the band!
Her musical influences include Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Alicia Keys, Brandi Carlile, and many other powerhouse vocalists.
Barb Sabal - Lead and Backing Vocals
Prior to joining The Look in 2022, Barb has appeared with a number of local cover bands in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Her strong, soulful vocals make her a welcome addition to the band.
Influenced strongly by the women of rock and roll in the 80's, Barb's vocals draw from the likes of Linda Ronstadt, Chrissie Hynde, Sheryl Crow, Ann Wilson, and Stevie Nicks

Daryl Hesch - Guitar and Vocals
Daryl has been performing live for many years, including 10 years with Utter Chaos and a short stint with Bad Weather. He is very well versed in the local music scene, playing bars, private parties, and even the occasional large stage.
He plays lead guitar with great stage presence, but holds down rhythm when it's someone else's time to shine. Daryl adds background vocals and even the occasional lead.
Musical influences include Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, and the Beatles.
Al Vorse - Bass and Vocals
Al has been playing, recording and teaching electric bass in the Twin Cities for nearly three decades. He studied music at Normandale Community College and Allegheny College, as well as private study with bassists such as Chris Bates and Jim Anton.
He has been a member of many original and cover bands playing Rock, Jazz, R&B/Soul/Funk, Folk/Roots, Country, Experimental and working with singer/songwriters.
His many influences include Muzz Skillings ( Living Colour ) Geddy Lee ( Rush ) Chuck Rainey ( Aretha Franklin ) and Mick Karn ( Japan )
